It started with a simple question during the COVID-19 lockdown in India: “Why is it so hard for donors to know exactly how their contributions are being used?”
In April 2020, during India's COVID-19 lockdown, my father, Mr. P. S. Gopalakrishnan, organized the distribution of essential groceries to migrant families facing sudden financial hardship. Supported by a small team of apartment staff, the effort expanded from 50 families to more than 1,200 families in over two months.
